Fast and Furious star Paul Walker passed away last November, but his co-stars are making sure he isn’t forgotten.
Michelle Rodriguez took to Instagram on Thursday to share a pic of her and Vin Diesel and a heartfelt message with her more than 670,000 followers.
The photo’s touching caption read: “Ride or Die through thick and thin 15 yrs later surreal to think we made it through such a tough painful production. But this ones for you P I hope we make you proud love you.”
Michelle, Vin and Paul met 13 years ago while filming the first installment of the Fast and Furious franchise.
The seventh movie, set to premiere in April 2015, just wrapped filming yesterday in Los Angeles. Michelle also shared this pic to commemorate the cast and crew’s last day together:
However, one critical scene was cut from filming yesterday because it was deemed too dangerous.
According to TMZ, producers brought in “authentic street racers” for the scene, where a yellow Chevelle races another car and pops a wheelie as bystanders stand by the track and cheer.
Though the car-crash that tragically killed Paul Walker was not film-related, TMZ reports the movie’s staff is very cautious of filming scenes that could be potentially dangerous, as another crash could possibly jeopardize the series's success.
