A student being bullied at Lincoln Middle School in Kenosha, Wis., inspired three students to come to her defense in a big way.
Desiree Andrews, the victim of the bullying and a cheerleader at the school, happens to have Down syndrome. After hearing vicious names being chanted towards the girl during a game, three basketball players — Chase Vasquez, Miles Rodriguez and Scooter Terrien — walked off the court and demanded the bullies to stop.

"It’s not fair when other people get treated wrong because we’re all the same," Terrien told 'TMJ4.' "We're all created the same. God made us the same way."
Since the incident, the boys have affectionately nicknamed the gymnasium in their school, "D's House." The gym teacher has plans to create a banner featuring the nickname, which has stuck among the students at the school.
Desiree says their gesture was "sweet, kind, awesome, amazing."
