The 24-year-old beauty showed off her vocal power, instead of her backside, in her first performance in years that didn't involve twerking and a lot of tongue, and her sister Noah Cyrus was definitely impressed.
"And for the first time in years with pants on my big sister Miley Cyrus," she said alongside her dad Billy Ray as she introduced her sister on the stage.
Wearing an all-white ensemble along with an oversized hat, the former Disney star was nearly unrecognizable as she took the stage without any gimmicks or racy outfit.
Too bad Liam Hemsworth was not in the crowd cheering her on!
This new look comes with her highly anticipated album, which will show fans a new side of the blonde beauty.
“This record is a reflection of the fact that yes, I don’t give a fuck, but right now is not a time to not give a fuck about people,” she told Billboard. “I’m giving the world a hug and saying, ‘Hey, look. We’re good -- I love you.’ And I hope you can say you love me back.”
She continued, "My record is political, but the sound bite doesn’t stop there. Because you can write something beautiful and you know E! News will ruin our lives and say, “This is a political record.” Because then I’m the Dixie Chicks and I’m getting my album smashed in the streets, and that’s not what I want. I want to talk to people in a compassionate, understanding way -- which people aren’t doing."
