Miranda Kerr can be seen in Victoria’s Secret catalogs, on the runway and fashionably walking the streets of L.A. One place she can’t be seen at? Her parents’ home in Australia.
In fact, her family claims in an upcoming episode of ABC1’s Family Confidential they have not seen her nor her 3-year-old son Flynn, in “over a year.”
"We have been best friends for most of our life. We used to talk just about every day,” her mother Therese says about her former bond with her daughter.
“I send her messages, just little texts to say 'I love you honey, let your little light shine, my arms are wrapped around you.’"
However, Therese notes those loving texts have not been immediately returned by Miranda, leaving her mother-daughter relationship broken.
"I'd like to spend more one-on-one time instead of with an entourage of people who we don't really know,” her brother Matthew adds. “I love her to death; I just want to see her more."
Before the 30-year-old model makes her way back to Australia, there might be two other people beating her there—Flynn and her ex-husband Orlando Bloom.
In the episode, Kerr’s father John discusses he “hit it off pretty well” with the actor being that they both are into motorcycles.
“I remember him saying 'We're always going to be family,'” Mr. Kerr says of Bloom revealing his split from Miranda after three years of marriage.
“And that’s how we’ll treat Orlando, Miranda and Flynn. We’re all family.”
Unfortunately, the subject of the show wasn’t able to be part of the filming of the documentary "due to her busy international work schedule," a spokeswoman for Miranda stated.
And by busy, she probably meant preparing to be the new face of H&M’s spring campaign as it was recently announced.
More shocking details of the supermodel’s relationship with her family will be seen when the episode airs Tuesday, Feb. 11 at 8 p.m. on ABC1.
