Miranda Lambert performed a rather fitting tribute to country great Loretta Lynn on Sept. 1!
The 31-year-old sang the 83-year-old's classic tune about divorce, "Rated X," before presenting her with an award at the ACM Honors in Nashville.

It's been a little over a month since the blonde beauty announced her separation from hubby-of-four-years Blake Shelton, so the song — about a woman who finds freedom in divorce — was perfect for the Grammy winner.
Considered controversial when it was first released in 1973, "Rated X" lyrics include, "Well if you've been a married woman and things didn't seem to work out / Divorce is the key to bein' loose and free so you're gonna be talked about / Everybody knows that you've loved once so they think you'll love again."

Not only did Miranda slay the performance, but she looked killer in a gorgeous pink dress with cut-outs that showed off her toned frame.
The "Automatic" songstress previously joked about her split last month, telling a crowd in Minnesota, "I wish I've been drinking all day, I deserve it. I just got divorced.”
