Molly Sims has been open about her struggles to lose the weight after the birth of her first baby, Brooks, last June.
But now, almost a year later, the swimsuit model tells Life & Style at the LAVANILA Healthy Deodorant event in NYC how she shed 74 pounds! “Fiber was key,” Molly, who was diagnosed with a thyroid problem that went unnoticed until November, tells the new issue of Life & Style, on stands now.
See Molly Sims' Post-Baby Body in a Bikini Her high-fiber diet involved replacing bread with at least four GG Bran crackers per day and drinking a daily green vegetable juice. “Fiber swells in the stomach, absorbing fat, calories, cholesterol and other toxins, ushering them out of the body before they can lead to weight gain,” says Molly’s nutritionist, Tanya Zuckerbrot, explaining why a high-fiber diet worked best for the supermodel. Now, the 5-foot-10 star, who “killed herself” to slim down, is proud to announce, “I’m back to 130 [pounds]!”
