Last October, Sue Ellen Monahan was faced with the decision no mother ever wants to be faced with — but it ended up saving multiple people's lives.
Tim Conley, the 25-year-old son of Sue, suffered a head injury while at a warehouse, and when he didn't wake up the following morning, he was rushed to the hospital. After days on life support, Tim passed away and Sue decided to donate her son's organs to those in need.

Now, the mother has come face-to-face with the man who received Tim's heart, a middle-aged man named John Claflin. In a new interview, she's seen placing her ear on his chest and listening to her son's heartbeat again.
"I feel like I'm hugging my son," she told John before bursting into tears.
Tim's organs ended up saving the lives of four individuals, and Sue expressed to Inside Edition that she chose to donate his heart because it's "what he would've wanted."
"It was the hardest thing I ever did in my life," she admits.
