Harry the chow chow, the innocent dog who was a victim of animal cruelty, has been saved.
The Kansas City rescue dog was found chained up in a backyard, barely able to fight for his life.
Aside from being emaciated, Harry was covered in five pounds of hard, matted hair that took more than two hours to get rid of, according to a KMBC News report. He was almost entirely blind due to his eyelashes which had grown into his eyes, and if that wasn't heartbreaking enough, he's also missing a part of his nose.

"Not quite sure how that happened, but it looks like a clean cut of some sort. Whether he inflicted that on himself or if somebody did it to him we don't know," said Tori Fugate from the KC Pet Project, a nonprofit charitable organization that finds homes for homeless pets.
"He's been super friendly with us and we've all just fallen for him," Tori added. "We're trying to make him as comfortable as possible and giving him the love and attention he deserves."
