Life & Style’s special issue, The Making of Kim Kardashian, details Nori’s moneymaking power — her first public appearance, product lines and how much she stands to make for appearances on the family’s reality show and the inevitable mommy-daughter spin-off!
“North will almost definitely be on Keeping Up With the Kardashians eventually,” an insider reveals in Life & Style’s special issue, The Making of Kim Kardashian — despite Kanye’s protests to keep her off-camera. “Nori will likely start at a low salary, $2,000 per episode. That will increase if the show is still on the air once she can walk and talk.”
And since the family has had a variety of spin-offs, Kim is likely to get her own. “If Kim gets a mom-centric spin-off reality show, North will likely earn $10,000 an episode,” the insider adds.
But before the on-camera deals come rolling in, the world still awaits the first glimpse of baby Nori — and it, too, will be a moneymaker.
“Nori’s first mommy-daughter public appearance is worth approximately $2 million,” says Jo Piazza, author of Celebrity, Inc.: How Famous People Make Money and executive news director of Life & Style, “and there are plenty of big-name brands that would pay that.”
Kim and Kanye are also in talks to collaborate on a baby clothing line with the retailer Sears, which already carries the successful clothing line Kardashian Kollection. “If Kim and Kanye collaborated on a baby clothing line, it could bring in upwards of $5 million a year,” Piazza says.
And don’t be surprised if Kim puts her newfound parenting tips and tricks to print also. “Kim could land a cool $1 million advance on a mommy tome.”
The question is whether North will be crying or laughing all the way to the bank!
