According to a new report, the singer, known for her diva antics, is being paid a whopping $300,000 to appear at a Pier 1 pop-up store in NYC tonight — and only has to stay one hour to collect her paycheck!

“Let’s call it 45 minutes,” a source reveals, adding that the 45-year-old had a list of demands before agreeing to the event. “She specifically wanted (it noted) that she was ‘appearing’ not ‘performing.’ They would have loved her to perform but just getting her is worth it.”

The insider also tells Confident@l that Mariah had final say on the invite, requesting she be called “The Queen of Christmas” as well as “the biggest selling female recording artist of all time.”

“She has to do nothing. Show up, wave a little, talk to a few pre-approved outlets,” the source adds. “She’s in town so why not make all the money you can?”

Apart from the Pier 1 appearance, Mariah is also in town to promote her new children’s book, All I Want for Christmas Is You, and her Hallmark Channel movie, A Christmas Melody.
