Tamra, 44, reveals that one year ago doctors found cervical cancer that needed to be removed. "They said, 'It's bad, it's stage-four cancer cells,'" Tamra, 44, recalls to Life & Style, on newsstands now. "[When they explained it], I remember thinking, Wait a minute! It's like all of a sudden, What?"
The cancer was successfully removed, but her fear of a recurrence is what drove Tamra to have her large C-cup implants completely removed in October (she had her DD implants replaced with smaller ones five years ago). "I was freaked out that cancer would be behind the implants, so I took them out altogether," she tells Life & Style about repeatedly finding lumps in her chest. "It's just one of those things where you're like, Okay, you know what, I have to take control of my own body."
Now a petite 34B, Tamra is focused on eating healthy and working out -- and she loves her smaller, natural boobs. As for her fit fiancé, Eddie Judge, "He likes them a lot better!" she shares. All in all, "I think being in your 40s, there's a whole different outlook on life: You get a little more confident, giving up that part of you where you care too much what people think. It's the best thing I've ever done."
