The current members of One Direction are reportedly taking a year-long break to pursue separate projects starting in March of 2016, according to E! News.

So what does this mean for bandmates Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, Liam Payne and Niall Horan? Well, since they're expected to release their fifth album later this year, it turns out that they won't be going on tour.

But, the good news: "They will remain together and plan to work together in the future," a source reveals to E!, reminding us of Zayn Malik's sad departure in March.
The announcement comes just days after 1D released their new music video for the song "Drag Me Down." So what will the boys being doing with their time? Well Louis will no doubt be on diaper duty when his pal Briana Jungwirth gives birth to their first child next year.
But fans can still expect to hear new songs from the foursome in the future. "They love working together," another source tells E!. "They envision a future together but with the freedom to do other things as well."
