Oprah is coming clean about her much-anticipated interview with Lance Armstrong.
After being stripped of his seven Tour de France titles last August, the former cyclist admits to the talk show host that he did, in fact, use performance-enhancing drugs to win his multiple championships—his personal confession will air over two nights starting Thursday on her OWN network.
Earlier today, Oprah appeared on CBS This Morning where she revealed it’s “the biggest interview I’ve ever done.”
“I would say he didn’t come clean in the manner I expected,” Oprah shares, adding that she “was satisfied” and “riveted by some of his answers.”
The 41-year-old cancer survivor’s interview and confession comes as shock after he spent years denying the allegations.
“He was just ready,” Oprah says when asked why he decided to admit his wrongdoing now.
The pair taped their interview on Monday, Jan. 14, reportedly following Lance’s appearance at his Livestrong cancer charity offices in Austin, Texas. He was said to have apologized to his staff.
