Next month marks seven years since Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief hit theaters — and Logan Lerman made his debut as an bonafide action star.

Alongside his friends Grover and Annabeth, played by Brandon T. Jackson and Alexandra Daddario, the son of Poseidon goes on a quest to save his mom and return Zeus' lightning bolt to the king of gods.

As a fellow demigod, the daughter of Athena, Annabeth helps Percy on his journey to the underworld to free his mom from Hades.

As Percy's BFF Grover, Brandon is the perfect sidekick.

The actor has also starred in blockbusters Tropic Thunder and The Day the Earth Stood Still.

Uma Thurman (Medusa)

On their quest for the first pearl needed to save Percy's mom, the trio encounters Medusa, played perfectly by Uma, in the garden. Let's just say it does not end well for snake-haired beauty.

The Oscar-nominated actress is set to star in the upcoming film, The Brits Are Coming, alongside Sofia Vergara and Alice Eve.

Sean Bean (Zeus)

When Zeus accuses Percy of stealing his lightning bolt, his world is turned upside down. Don't worry, he eventually gets his bolt back!

Next up for the British actor: the TV series Broken.

Rosario Dawson (Persephone)

As the wife of Hades, Rosario's Persephone is crucial to Percy's quest to get the lightning bolt back to its rightful owner.

The Cuban actress is slated to appear in several movies in 2017 including The Batman Lego Movie and Unforgettable.

Kevin McKidd (Poseidon)

Imagine waking up and discovering that your dad is Poseidon, the God of the Sea. That's exactly what happens to Percy Jackson.

Fans of the Scottish actor can catch him on Grey's Anatomy as Dr. Owen Hunt.

Pierce Brosnan (Mr. Brunner/Chiron)

Initially disguised as Percy's Latin teacher Mr. Brunner, Pierce's character turns out to be the centaur Chiron.

The former James Bond will appear in the TV series The Son in 2017.

As the son of Hermes, Percy and his friends learn quickly not to trust fellow demigod Luke.

However, he does return in the sequel, Sea of Monsters.

The British actor was nearly unrecognizable as Hades, leader of the underworld, in the adventure film.

Catherine Keener (Sally Jackson)

Percy's mom failed to mention his mythological background — but that does not stop her son from rescuing her from the underworld.

Catherine is best known for her roles in The 40-Year-Old Virgin and Into the Wild.
