Fans on Social Media Accuse Perrie Edwards of Copying Gigi Hadid’s Runway Look

It's been more than two years since Zayn Malik broke off his engagement to Little Mix member Perrie Edwards, but the world is still finding ways to connect the two. Most recently, fans took to Perrie's comments section on Instagram and accused her of copying Zayn's current girlfriend, Gigi Hadid's, runway look. Although it's ironic that both girls, who have both been romantically linked to Zayn, tried to pull off the motocross vibe, there's no clear indication that Perrie copied Gigi. The supermodel wore the look first at the Tommy Hilfiger show during Milan Fashion Week on Feb. 25, 2018 — one full day before Perrie rocked the outfit on Instagram with her friend, Ellie Hemmings. The pair "looked the part" for a day of go-karting and trampoline fun.

Even though Ellie posted an Instagram video of her and Perrie's adventurous day, fans on social media still weren't convinced she wasn't trying to subtly recreate Gigi's look. One commenter wrote, "looks like she's wearing @gigihadid 's Tommy Hilfiger collection." Another said, "look at this @zayn." And it didn't stop there. The opinions got to be so far-fetched that they assumed Perrie was throwing shade Gigi's way after she posted the caption, "We didn’t just look the part. We tore up the track," which possibly referenced the race track-themed fashion show.

With all of the speculation that flooded into Perrie's comments section, she has yet to fire back on her side of the story. (Neither Zayn nor Gigi have addressed the situation to boot.) However, it's most likely because she's over dealing with any kind of drama still lingering here — she's moved on. The "Shoutout to My Ex" singer has been dating professional soccer player, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, for more than a year.
