This past Saturday was a special day for U.S. Marine Cpl. Caleb Earwood. Yes, it was Memorial Day weekend, but he was also marrying the love of his life, Maggie. But the pair had no idea that one of their wedding photos would end up being shared by thousands!
A photo of Caleb praying with his bride-to-be has since gone viral after photographer Dwayne Schmidt posted it to Facebook following the ceremony. Wanting to keep the tradition of not seeing Maggie before the wedding, the duo were photographed clasping hands around a corner.

"They hid me in a room and he stepped up on the stairwell and he stuck his hand out and I grabbed his hand," Maggie explained to ABC News. Caleb then prayed that their marriage would serve as a strong example for other young couples.
"It broke me down," Maggie said of the prayer, "to know that we felt the same way about God. It just made me happy."

"I have photographed a lot of weddings. This has to be one of the best things I have ever got to see much less photograph," Schmidt captioned the photo, which has gotten over 46,000 likes.
Since then, "so many people are emailing me saying thank you for sharing this," he added. "It's what America is supposed to be about."
