After her son was born three years ago, photographer Jade Beall had a revelation. The things that most women consider to be flaws (ex: stretch marks) should instead be labeled as "beauty markings."
So she set out to photograph women exactly the way they look — without a stitch of Photohshop.
In an effort to celebrate all types of women, Beall is currently fundraising for a site called 'You Are Beautiful,' which will feature unaltered portraits from photographers around the world and the stories behind each subject.

"So many women feel alone and unsupported as they deal with their bodies changing, going through pregnancy, post-partum, miscarriages, eating disorders, depression, weight gain, weight loss, cancer, illness and accidents," Beall wrote of her reason for wanting to start the site.
Calling her current blog, 'A Beautiful Body,' "a lifeline for thousands of women around the world," Beall told 'The Huffington Post' that she ultimately wants to "promote healthy self-esteem, self-love and empowerment."
