Just seven months after welcoming daughter Maxwell, Jessica Simpson is pregnant again – and it surprised even her.
"Apparently it was a part of God's plan for my life,” the star, who looked stunning in a form-fitting animal print dress, spilled to Jay Leno about her pregnancy on The Tonight Show’s Jan. 15 episode. “I was extremely shocked because I was going through a lot of hormonal changes, trying to get back to the old, vibrant Jessica.”

After setting a wedding date with fiancé Eric Johnson last year, the actress and singer had to postpone the wedding for baby Maxi. Now, she has to wait once again!
“We’ve had two different wedding dates...You know, it was kind of like a one-night stand and it happened, all over again!” the 32-year-old shared, adding, "We're doing it very backwards, I know….”
That Jess never fails to keep us entertained with her TMI quotes!
As for weight gain during her second pregnancy, the Weight Watchers spokesperson is planning on doing things differently this time around.

"I was really happy to be pregnant and I didn't ever step on the scale," the Dukes of Hazzard star, who lost more than 50 pounds after her first pregnancy, shares. "I didn't realize you could gain that much weight that quickly." Her plan is to gain only 25 to 30 pounds.
And she isn’t keeping her baby news from slowing her work ethic: Jess is set to star on a new NBC show.
“I will be playing myself, which is pretty easy,” she says, but will have actors playing Eric and her father in the currently untitled show loosely based on her life.
