Kate Middleton has received the strangest baby gift ever – condoms! The unusual present was in a box of baby essentials sent to the mom-to-be by the government of Finland.

The Finnish social security service, Kela, sent Kate and her husband, Prince William, a baby box that every new mom in Finland receives when she gives birth. It contains colorful rompers, leggings, a hooded bath towel, hairbrush, diaper rash cream, a picture book, a snowsuit and a teething toy.
The condoms are included in the gift box to encourage new parents to wait a little while before trying for baby no. 2.

"We were delighted to receive the very kind gift of the maternity package from the Finnish government," a Kensington Palace spokesperson said. "I'm sure the Duke and Duchess will be very interested to see the contents."
Prince William Risks Missing the Birth of His Baby
Kate is due to give birth to the couple's first child this month at St. Mary's Hospital in London. The street outside the hospital's private Lindo wing (where Prince William was also born) has already had No Parking signs posted and barricades have been erected across the road for the crowd of photographers who are expected to assemble there when Kate goes into labor.
