"We have seen first-hand the 'Kate Effect' on sales of beauty products,” says general manager, Siobhan McDermott. “For example, two years ago blonde shades were more than twice as popular as brown tones. Kate landed in the top spot with 30 percent of the votes, beating out the likes of Kate Moss, Victoria Beckham, and British supermodel Cara Delevingne.
And the Duchess of Cambridge wasn’t the only famous expectant mom to make the list. Kim Kardashian was placed in the fifth position with 10 percent of the votes.
Kate’s fashion sense is also something women in the UK admire. In April, InStyle UK revealed their “Most Desired” celebrity wardrobe poll, and readers voted the 31-year-old in the top spot.
