Ten weeks into her second pregnancy, Kate Middleton was forced to cancel all public appearances for two weeks due to morning sickness.
Kate, who suffers from hyperemesis gravidarum, which causes severe vomiting in expectant mothers, retreated to her family home in Bucklebury, Berkshire, with her parents, and son Prince George this week. Her mother, Carole, has been by her daughter's side.
One source told the Daily Mail: "Kate is feeling so lousy that she just wanted to be with her family and out of public view.
"She is extremely close to Carole, who is very much a hands-on grandmother. Between her and their nanny, Maria, Kate has all the help she needs with George while she is feeling so sick."
This is not the duchess' first time at the rodeo though. She suffered severe morning sickness during her first pregnancy with George.
This time doctors are better prepared, with a source saying "...The difference is that her doctors have been able to diagnose and treat her quicker. She really hasn't been at all well, though."
Kate has since returned to London, but has not been seen in public. We're wishing the Duchess a speedy recovery!
