The new Royal baby girl has made her first public appearance — exactly nine hours and 38 minutes after being born.
The baby and her delighted parents, Prince William and Kate Middleton, were spotted for the first time since the birth as they left the hospital this afternoon at 6:12 p.m. London time.

Kate, ever the enviable beauty, looked just radiant, perfectly coiffed and flawlessly made up because, you know, labor ain't no thang. The Duchess of Cambridge, 33, wore a beautiful yellow floral Jenny Packham dress for the special occasion.

But for once, nobody was focused on Kate. It was the little bundle in her arms that drew all the attention. The new princess, whose name has yet to be revealed, was neatly swaddled in a white knitted blanket.
The tiny little girl looked to be sleeping peacefully as her mother held her in front of the cameras and the cheering crowd who were gathered outside the hospital.
