With an expected baby announcement right around the corner, what’s more fitting to give Prince William and Kate Middleton than a onesie?
The duo visited Cambridge in England today — and a fan got close enough to gift William with just that. The adorable item was decorated with a helicopter and the slogan “Daddy’s little co-pilot.”
“I made it for when his little one comes along,” 27-year-old Samantha Hill says of her present. “He’s a helicopter pilot, so his baby will think his daddy is cool.”
Will’s reaction? “When I gave it to him he said, ‘I’ll keep that,’ and handed it to his aide,” Hill shares.
And the duchess is definitely in baby mode! Surrounded by 4,000 people, Kate couldn’t keep her eyes off a 7-month-old.
“She said how cute he was,” the little one’s mother, Tessa Davies, says. “His name is James William — the William was named after Prince William. I told her that and she said that was wonderful.”
As Life & Style reports in this week’s issue, on newsstands now, Kate’s friend, Jessica Hay, reveals the royal couple will share their big news in December.
