While taking in a parade at Richmond Castle today, the Queen was smiling away in a bright princess pink outfit, obviously giddy over the news of her new great granddaughter's arrival.

With Prince Andrew by her side, the 89-year-old Queen looked elated after becoming a great grandmother for the fifth time.
The parade was a typically bombastic affair meant to mark the creation of the regiment The Royal Lancers. After watching the parade, the monarch addressed the crowd.
Apparently, the Queen and her husband, the Duke of Edinburgh, were the first to hear the good news of the birth at 8:34 this morning and expressed their delight in a statement.
The baby girl, whose name has yet to be released, left the hospital this afternoon in the arms of her mother Kate Middleton along with her father Prince William.
