It looks like The Bachelorette winner Bryan Abasolo is celebrating his new engagement to Rachel Lindsay by shading competitor Peter Kraus. While on Good Morning America earlier today, the final rose recipient, 37, was asked whether he ran into the runner-up, 31, during the live finale portion of the show — and there was some major dissing involved.
“I actually didn’t meet with Peter last night, but I saw the final episode and yeah, as a man, you feel a little frustration of how she was treated in the position she was put in for the simple fact that here I am, you know, totally committed, totally invested, totally ready to start a real future with this woman,” he said, with fiancée Rachel seated next to him. “And then on the other end, you know, you have someone who’s indecisive, wishy-washy, and at the same time he’s telling her he’s in love with her and will propose. So, you know, it was just tough to watch.”
And considering the nasty nature of Rachel’s breakup with Peter, it’s no wonder there was shade being thrown around. It was, of course, Peter who seemed to get cold feet in relation to a proposal. Rachel addressed the drama on GMA as well. “At that point, I knew that he wasn’t the one for me,” she said. “It was really important for me to not have two men standing up there at the end. If I knew what I was going to do, then I wanted to send that person home the night before.”
Well, the duo looked super in love on last night’s episode. And before Rachel accepted a classic Neil Lane sparkler from Bryan, she couldn’t help but gush over her future husband.
"I always said I would know the person I'm supposed to be with is someone I couldn't picture my life without," she said right before Bryan got down on one knee. "I just want to tell you I love you, I'm in love with you, and I can't imagine not spending my life with you."
