Rachel McAdams Can’t Stop Gushing Over New Baby Boy, “She’s Pinching Herself, She Is so Happy”
It’s baby bliss for Rachel McAdams! Though the actress may not be posting pics of her little boy on social media just yet, she is one proud — and happy — mama. That’s right, despite the fact that she and boyfriend Jamie Linden keep a very low profile, the couple has officially announced their parenthood! So much so, that Rachel cannot stop gushing.
That said, The Notebook star will continue to maintain her privacy. “She’s going to keep the circle around her small,” an insider tells In Touch of the 39-year-old, who never announced her pregnancy. (Life & Style exclusively reported that Rachel was pregnant back in February.)
“She’s not even telling anyone outside her circle what she and Jamie [Linden] named him.” Rachel is content keeping her little one all to herself. “She’s pinching herself, she is so happy,” says the insider. “She can’t stop kissing and holding her son.”
Previously, sources revealed that Rachel and Jamie were seen enjoying dinner at a popular Atlanta restaurant, when an eyewitness spotted her growing baby bump. “They were a low-key couple and not outwardly affectionate,” the source told Life & Style, before adding that Rachel was “positively glowing.”
In 2009, Rachel revealed she could not wait to be a mom. “Having a few [kids] would be great,” she told People magazine. “My mom is a great inspiration to me. She’s a nurse and very nurturing and gentle. She lets me be who I am. Hopefully I can take on those qualities and be as great as her.”
As to why Rachel decided to keep her pregnancy under wraps, she recently opened up about her struggles with social anxiety. “I have a little bit of social anxiety,” she said at YahooBe. “So going to a party and talking to a bunch of strangers makes me want to stay home forever.”
Rachel was previously linked to actors Ryan Gosling, Josh Lucas, and Michael Sheen. Jamie was in a relationship with Zooey Deschanel before meeting Rachel. Congrats to the happy couple!
