Randy From ‘My 600-Lb Life’ Looks Totally Different Today — See His Weight Loss!

Randy from the hit show My 600-lb Life was one of Dr. Nowzardan’s most difficult cases. Weighing in at over 600 pounds, the Texas native had dealt with bad overeating habits since he was a kid.

“For as long as I can remember, I was bigger than everyone my age,” he said during his episode of the show. “I was athletic because my dad would coach a lot of the youth team sports, and he would tell me to eat as much as I wanted so I can get big and use that size on the field. Everyone expected me to be the big guy, and that’s what I was because I wanted my dad’s approval and I wanted everyone’s approval.”

His weight increased rapidly as he got older, weighing 180 pounds in the sixth grade and ballooning to over 300 pounds by the time he graduated high school. At 22-years-old, Randy married his first wife Danielle, and at the wedding, he weighed over 400 pounds. It was after their divorce when Randy put on the rest of the weight. When Dr. Nowzardan told him he had to lose 40 pounds in order to get weight loss surgery, he started to feel the stress.

“I want to do this, and get my daughter back, but even if I lose another 40 pounds I don’t know if it’s enough to get the surgery, so it’s hard to get motivated,” he said on the episode. Though Randy faced difficulty when he started — reverting to his old ways and actually packing on some more pounds — he ended up undergoing surgery and has since dropped some major weight!
