Paris Hilton, Ariel Winter, and More Stars Who Showed up Practically Naked to Coachella

Everyone knows Coachella is just as much about the fashion as it is the music, and a few celebrities like to get that point across by wearing some seriously revealing outfits.

Although Coachella started off as a hippy-dippy festival during its more humble days back in 2001, the event is now a star-studded affair, complete with red carpets, V.I.P. tents, and more. Celebrities get in the spirit by donning flower crowns, jean shorts, and culturally inappropriate garb — sometimes while even flashing a peace sign or two.

However, that’s the old Coachella stereotype. Thanks to Instagram, festival fashion has evolved beyond tired flower crowns into something more high-end. Celebs now wear clothing that makes a statement — and what easier way to make a statement than by showing up practically naked?

Festival nudity is something fans have been doing for years, but lately stars have been getting in on the action, too. The current trend right now are sheer tops with no bra — something that would have been unheard of five years ago but now is all the rage thanks to Paris Hilton and Ariel Winter.

However, Ariel doesn’t want fans to judge her for the type of clothing she chooses to wear.

“I think people make a lot of judgments about me based on what I wear and all the things that I do,” the Modern Family star said. “They kind of glorify and objectify a lot of the things that I do, and I wish people would just see me as the normal 18-year-old that I am. I’m doing the same things that everybody my age is doing…people are taking it and making it [seem] like I’m doing stuff that is crazy when really I’m just being me. I wish people would see that.”
