Siggy Flicker gave Life & Style an exclusive look inside her two custom closets in her Tenafly, NJ home — one holds designer shoes, bags and other accessories, while the other stores clothes from posh labels like Hermès.
Growing up, the RHONJ star reveals that she never had much, “I used to be a nanny and waited tables at TGI Fridays. I hustled. I’m a rags-to-riches story!”
Though she and car dealer hubby Michael Campanella are now financially secure, Siggy is just as practical as when she saved for her first Chanel bag (which she still uses).
“I collect classic, simple things,” says Siggy, because she intends to pass it all down to her daughter, Sophie, 14. “She can put something special on, and say, ‘My mother worked hard for this!’"
In her accessories closet, she showed Life & Style her collections of more than 200 pairs of shoes, including 10 pairs of $1,000 YSL stacked heels, and over 50 high-end handbags from Chanel, Louis Vuitton, and Céline.
She keeps her dresses and fancier outfits in her second, meticulously organized 800-square-foot closet. “I like to look at my things all lined up,” adds the relationship expert.
Siggy says she’s so “obsessed” with Chiara Boni’s La Petite Robe dresses, she has 35 of them (at about $700 each)! “They make you look 10 pounds thinner,” she says. “I wore one when I met Oprah [Winfrey] and got her to buy one!”
