Are Betty and Jughead getting back together?
Last week, viewers watched as Betty (played by Lili Reinhart) embraced her dark side and stripped down onstage to complete her initiation into the Southside Serpents. Unfortunately, Jughead (played by Cole Sprouse) was less than supportive of her sexy striptease. In the end, Jughead decided to push Betty away to save her from the dangers of the gang (and the dangers of her dark side, tbh) leaving Bughead fans heartbroken.
“Betty is not someone who gives up easily. She’s probably the strongest of the kids," executive producer Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa previously explained about the couple. "If she’s going to start losing Jughead, which may happen, she’s going to fight for him."

Did Archie and Veronica break up?
No couple is safe on Riverdale, not even the beloved Varchie. After Archie (played by KJ Apa) professed his love to girlfriend Veronica (played by Camila Mendes), he was greeted with an unexpected response. V explained that she's not ready to "go there" with Archiekins and she's not sure when she will be ready. This, of course, left him hurt, and left their relationship slightly broken. But, are they done for good?

Are Betty and Archie going to get together?
Most Riverdale fans know that the traditional story from the Archie comics revolves around Betty's love for her next-door-neighbor, Archie. The TV show set up this storyline in the first episode when Betty confessed to Archie that she has feelings for him, only for Archie to shut her down. But, Barchie shippers shouldn't get discouraged since the two best friends shared a sweet kiss in the most recent episode signifying that their relationship isn't purely platonic. Viewers also got a glimpse of how deep their relationship really is when Archie gave Betty a Swiss Family Robinson read-along record they used to listen to when they were kids.
"To me, it shows that there's just such a genuine friendship between them and they just know each other," Lili told Entertainment Tonight about the gift Archie gave her character. "Even though you don’t get to see every little detail of their past or their history, when she says that they listened to it when they were five years old, it just paints a picture for you of how long these people have been in one another's lives and it's just really sweet."

Is Cheryl Blossom gay?
Riverdale fans are great at reading between the lines — and a lot of them think that sometimes villain Cheryl Blossom (played by Madelaine Petsch) is secretly a lesbian who is in love with Josie (played by Ashleigh Murray). Madelaine previously admitted that Cheryl gets a love interest this season, so who's to say it's not a girl?
"Last season, we talked a lot about how close [Cheryl and Josie] were, but you never really saw it on camera," Madelaine told Entertainment Tonight. "But Josie is the only real ally that Cheryl has in this school and the only person that Cheryl is willing to open up to even the littlest bit. She hasn't really opened up to her too much, but they create a really beautiful friendship in the beginning of the season."
