Twihard fans, rejoice! Robert Pattinson just opened up about what it was like working with Kristen Stewart, and although the two are now (sadly) exes, he had nothing but positive things to say about her.

During the Hollywood premiere of his new film Damsel, the 32-year-old told Entertainment Tonight that he has worked with “tons” of amazing women. “I mean, I’ve worked with some real powerhouses,” he said. “Definitely Mia is one of them, obviously. Kristin Scott Thomas, Uma Thurman,” he gushed. But what about K-Stew? “Kristen Stewart, Kristen too! Kristen Stewart as well, yeah, yeah, yeah. Catherine Hardwicke, too. She’s great.” Okay so it took some prying, but that totally counts, right?

Most Twilight fans already know that the former couple met during auditions for the film. Kristen and Rob were cast, respectively, as Bella Swan and Edward Cullen in the franchise, with Kristen later opening up about the casting process and her first choice for a romantic lead. “I basically cast him,” she told Vanity Fair. “We did one day of auditions and a bunch of guys came in. Catherine Hardwicke, the director, afterwards was like, ‘What do you think? This is such a hard choice.’ I was like, ‘Are you kidding me?! It’s such an obvious choice!’ It couldn’t have been better. It was sort of perfect.” Aww.

Recently, a source told Life & Style exclusively that the two started talking again, which means our dreams of an R-Patz/K-Stew reunion may be in the near future. “Robert and Kristen have become very close again,” the source dished, adding that they rekindled their relationship following Robert’s breakup with FKA twigs. “Rob’s pals would love to see them back together.”

Well, it’s no secret that love is certainly in the air in Hollywood these days — hello, Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson! All we’re saying is that we wouldn’t be mad if it happened…
