Robin Thicke Calls Cops to Ex-Wife Paula Patton’s House Amid Custody Battle
Robin Thicke‘s custody battle with ex-wife Paula Patton has taken a turn for the worse.
The singer, who split from Paula in 2015 after 10 years together, shares six-year-old son Julian Fuego with his ex, and the couple has recently become tangled in a war over the boy.

Paula, 41, first asked the judge to limit the singer’s joint custody after Julian told officials that Robin had spanked him and later filed an order that would restrict his visitation to monitored daytime visits. Though that request was denied, Robin spoke out about the latest news and how he disciplined his son.
“On a very rare occasion and only as a last resort, I will use light spanking, but it is consistent with the law — open hand on the butt,” he said in court documents. “This is the type of discipline to which Paula and I agreed during our marriage.”
However, with the police now involved, the former friendly exes have started hurtling insults at each other.
On Friday, Robin arrived at Paula’s home with police officers, but left without his son, TMZ reports.
The site alleges that Robin had requested to have Julian for an overnight stay earlier in the week but that his ex didn’t respond. So on Friday morning, he appeared at her home with officers and the finalized court order.
However, when officials entered the home and spoke to Julian, the child reportedly told deputies he was scared of his father and did not want to see him. A video obtained by TMZ then shows police telling the parents that they would not remove the child against his will.
While the conversation over custody of Julian continues, TMZ also reports that the couple is close to reaching an agreement that would be approved by both sides.
