The best present wasn’t under the tree for Jersey Shore star Ronnie Ortiz-Magro! The 34-year-old reality star revealed he’s going to be a dad, as his girlfriend Jen Harley is pregnant with the couple’s first child. They confirmed the news to Us Weekly on Christmas Eve, revealing that they’re expecting a girl, due in about three months.

This is the second child for Jen, who is already mom to an 11-year-old son, and the first for Ronnie, who is relying on his Jersey Shore co-stars Snooki, JWoww, and Pauly D for parenting advice. The dad-to-be gushed, “They all went through different experiences, which is great.”

Ronnie previously opened up exclusively to In Touch about his love life with Jen and his desire to start a family of his own. “My love is good. I actually have a girlfriend right now. We’ve been together for a little bit now. It’ been longer than most of my relationships besides with [Jersey Shore co-star Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola],” he revealed. “No high-profile this time. It’s super low-profile.” When asked about his plans to get married and have kids, he cryptically revealed, “I’m focusing on getting my life together, what the next step is in my life and what I want to do. I want to have myself together before I try to make a family or something like that. Have a marriage — you know, you can’t have one person trying to get their life together. I want to make it work.”

Well, nothing like a kid to throw any of your best-laid plans out the window. Hopefully, we’ll get to see more of the Magro’s growing family on the small screen, as the news comes shortly after it was revealed that the crew is returning to TV for a reboot called Jersey Shore Family Vacation with all of Ron’s co-stars, save for Sammi.
