Poor Rose McGowan just can’t seem to catch a break! The former Charmed actress was arrested in Virginia on Nov. 14 after authorities found trace amounts of cocaine in a bag that she left on a United flight back in February. The Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority Police Department obtained a warrant against her, and she finally turned herself in.

Rose was booked briefly before she got out on a $5000 unsecured bond. Rose made it very clear how she felt about the situation when it went public in October. “Are they trying to silence me? There is a warrant out for my arrest in Virginia,” she tweeted. “What a load of HORSES–T!” Clearly, the actress felt that she was being published for speaking out against Harvey Weinstein, who she claimed raped her.

Right after she got out of jail, Rose took to Twitter to post a photo with her arms crossed behind a “#RoseArmy” podium. Her fans immediately rushed to her defense. “Please, take care of yourself Rose,” begged one person. “Run. I’ll vote for you,” requested another. “Absolutely f–king pathetic you’re being set up & were arrested,” wrote an angry supporter. “I bet @HarveyWeinstein is behind & his goons with this & is trying to silence you with a false drug charges. Go Rise like the Phoenix that you are #IStandWithRose #RoseArmy we survivors support you!”

Though this is Rose’s first arrest, she is no stranger to controversy. In the past, she has generalized gay men as being more “misogynistic than straight men” and hated on Caitlyn Jenner for saying the hardest part of being a woman was figuring out what to wear. She later shot down accusations that she was trans-phobic, calling them “laughable.”
