Nothing like some Yeezy to lift your spirits! Roseanne Barr praised Kanye West‘s musical prowess while taking to Twitter on June 12, revealing that his fiery new jams from his new album Ye have been helping her cope after ABC cancelled her show due to a controversial tweet she wrote about Valerie Jarrett.

“MUCH LOVE 2 U all-thanks for helping and praying for me! It worked! Listen to @kanyewest new album about mental illness, it’s the greatest thing ever,” the actress gushed in a now deleted tweet, while making sure to thank her followers for their support after the Roseanne reboot was cancelled. It’s only been a short while since she sparked outrage due to her tweet about Barack Obama’s former advisor — one which many felt was racist and unacceptable.

“1) I want u all 2 know I’m fine. I’ve been using this time 2 reflect & 2 gain insight on what I said & how it was misunderstood..,” Roseanne also wrote on June 13. “Needless 2 say I’m NOT what people have accused me of! I’ve never practiced ‘RACISM’ in my entire life & never will.” The comedian defended the way her remarks were perceived, after referring to Valerie as a cross of “muslim brotherhood & planet of the apes.”

“Rod Serling wrote Planet of The Apes. It was about anti-semitism,” Roseanne concluded in her series of tweets. “That is what my tweet referred to-the anti semitism of the Iran deal. Low IQ ppl can think whatever they want.” It’s interesting that Roseanne turned to Kanye during this time, as he’s no stranger to controversy himself, especially in recent weeks. The “Yikes” rapper faced major backlash for supporting President Trump (like Roseanne) and for his infamous “slavery was a choice” remark during an interview with TMZ. However, while Roseanne’s show has received the boot, Kanye’s latest release has gone on to top the charts.
