Russell Crowe and wife Danielle Spencer have decided to part ways.
According to the Sydney Morning Herald, the pair have split after nine years of marriage.
The news comes after rumors that Danielle was romancing Damian Whitewood, her pro partner on Australia's Dancing With the Stars. In June, the two were photographed with their arms around each other in a Sydney casino.
Russell, 48, and Danielle, 43, began dating after playing lovers in 1990's The Crossing. They briefly separated and the Oscar winner began dating actress Meg Ryan. After that relationship ended, Russell and Danielle rekindled their romance.
In 2003, the duo tied the knot at a chapel on Russell's farm in Australia's New South Wales.
"The thought [of marrying her] crossed my mind the first time I met her," Russell said about the Australian singer after their wedding.
The couple have two children together: sons Charles, 8½, and Tennyson, 6.
The Gladiator star is currently filming the biblical epic Noah in America, while Danielle is said to be in Sydney with their children.
Russell’s much anticipated flick Les Misérables will hit theaters in December.
