Sandra Bullock may have gotten all glammed up to attend tonight's People's Choice Awards, but the 51-year-old clearly left her heart at home!
While accepting the award for Favorite Movie Actress, the brunette beauty told a sweet story about five-year-old son Louis, who wanted to know where his mama, who recently adopted a three-year daughter named Laila, was headed.

"My son said, 'What's the name of the show,' and I said, 'People's Choice Awards.' And he said, 'Well am I getting an award?'"
Apparently, Louis felt he had earned one given his appearances in "Videos 2015" — aka his mom's iPhone videos.

So would would he say if he actually snagged a trophy? "Thank you to the world and thank you the planet." Sounds like the perfect acceptance speech to us!
