Scarlett Johansson is opening up about her divorce from Ryan Reynolds.
In the May issue of Marie Claire, Scar Jo explains how she was able to overcome the heartache.
“Well, it wasn’t that long ago,” reveals The Avengers star, who covers the mag in a beautiful floral lace ensemble. “But I think I’ve had a fair amount of time to process the experience and be able to move forward.”
She continued, “I continue to get to know myself better as I get older, and that helps me in my relationships.”
Since her split from Ryan, the 28-year-old has moved on. She’s currently dating French creative agency manager Romain Dauriac. The pair were first spotted in December 2012 and have been together ever since.
In the mag, the beauty also reveals her biggest turn-offs — something Romain more than likely does not possess.
NEWS: How Ryan Reynolds changed Scarlett Johansson's mind about marriage
“I don’t like jealous behavior,” she confesses. “I don’t mind an occasional check-in, but when somebody is passive-aggressively jealous, it’s really unattractive because it shows a sort of insecurity.”
“Controlling behavior is awful,” notes the starlet. “Nobody’s going to say they love that.”
Although things seem to be faring well for the couple, it doesn’t seem like getting married again is on her brain.
Earlier this year, she admitted, “I never think about marriage. Is that weird? The only time I ever think about it is when people ask me, ‘Would I get married again?’”
After two years of marriage, Ryan and Scarlett announced their separation in December 2010. The divorce was finalized in July 2011. Ryan has since moved on and remarried. He wed actress Blake Lively in September 2012.
