Nearly two weeks after Life & Style first reported Sean Lowe was set to join Dancing With the Stars – the Bachelor himself is confirming the news!
“I am so tired of keeping secrets, but now they’re all out,” the hunky 29-year-old revealed on Good Morning America Tuesday, March 12.
NEWS: Bachelor Sean Lowe to go Dancing With the Stars
The news comes just hours after Sean got down on bended knee and proposed to Catherine Giudici on his season finale. As Life & Style exclusively reported, the pair are gearing up to tie the knot in the summer on TV.
“When we have our big day, hopefully I’ll make her proud…I won’t make a fool of myself on the dance floor,” Sean said about what he hopes to take from his time on the hit ABC competition.

“He says he’s nervous,” a show source dished to Life & Style about Sean’s new venture, “and moved to LA full-time to begin rehearsals.”

He’s not the first Bachelor to go dancing. In 2010, Jake Pavelka finished in seventh place.
Sean will compete against the likes of Kellie Pickler, Lisa Vanderpump and Andy Dick for the season 16 Mirror Ball trophy. The new season kicks off Monday, March 18 at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
