Selena Gomez Dreads Run-In With Ex Justin Bieber at the Billboard Music Awards! (EXCLUSIVE)
Three’s a crowd — just ask Selena Gomez, who is dreading running into Justin Bieber at the 2017 Billboard Music Awards while with her boyfriend The Weeknd!

Sources are revealing exclusively to Life & Style that Selena, 24, is nervous about juggling her new man (real name: Abel Tesfaye) and her ex at the same event.
“Selena’s happier than ever,” says a source, “but she doesn’t want to rub it in Justin’s face. She’s afraid of being herself around Abel if Justin is nearby because she doesn’t want to hurt her ex.”
To make matters worse, the former Disney Channel star is nominated for Top Social Artist alongside the “Sorry” singer, who will also compete against The Weeknd, 27, in the Top Male Artist category.
Selena recently stepped out with the “Starboy” singer at Coachella and posted a rare selfie with the Canadian native on her Instagram at the music festival.

Selena definitely looks smitten by her new beau, and it seems the feelings are mutual.
“It’s serious, very serious,” an insider told Hollywood Life. “The Weeknd has already told Selena that he loves her and vice versa. He speaks a couple of languages and has made sure to confess his love in English, French, Spanish, and Amharic.”

However, Selena’s mom Mandy is not a fan of The Weeknd dating her daughter, who just completed a stint in rehab late last year.
“Mandy has met Abel and thinks he is respectful in person, but she doesn’t think he’s a good influence on Selena,” a source told Life & Style, before adding that she doesn’t approve of his “dirty and drug-related lyrics.”
