The pair has been inseparable since getting back together in October, and their moms feel very differently about that. Selena’s mother, Mandy Teefey, 41, “wants Selena to move on from Justin,” an insider reveals, while Justin’s mom, Pattie Mallette, also 41, “loves Selena and has been pushing Justin to pop the question!”

Now, the matriarchs are planning a face-to-face meeting to argue their sides, Life & Style has exclusively learned. “People in Mandy’s camp are saying it could get real ugly,” the insider explains. “Mandy says Justin is trouble and immature, and she wants to knock some sense into Pattie and tell her their kids are better off apart.”

Watching Selena, 25, fall apart after her many breakups with Justin, 23, still haunts the Wolves singer’s mom. “She’s seen the highs and lows of their relationship up close,” the insider notes, “and she’s not a fan.” But Pattie thinks she can change Mandy’s mind. “These women are not on the same page,” says the insider. “This is going to be a very interesting meeting.”

Despite her family’s hesitations, Selena let Justin move into her house while they are waiting to purchase a new place together. Now, “Justin and Selena want a fresh start together, on neutral ground,” an insider previously told Life & Style. “The only way they can do that is by purchasing a mansion neither of them has lived in before.”

And, of course, money isn’t an issue for the singers. “Their ideal budget is around $15 million,” the insider revealed. “They can’t wait to start a family, so they’re looking to buy a baby-friendly pad in Calabasas or Hidden Hills [outside LA].”
