Selena Gomez's Mom Contacted Justin Bieber After Her Rehab Stay (EXCLUSIVE)

Selena Gomez’s mom had a serious message for Justin Bieber after the former Disney star left rehab late last year: Leave her alone!

After getting treatment for “personal reasons,” the 24-year-old’s mom Mandy wanted to make sure that her “poisonous” ex didn’t try to contact her. “[Selena’s] family feels that no one has ever gotten under her skin like Justin and, ultimately, he affected her in a deeply negative way,” a source tells Life & Style.

Mandy urged the “Sorry” singer not to call, text, email, or see her daughter. “[She] really believes that Selena will be able to heal faster without him,” the insider explains. Life & Style previously reported that the brunette beauty’s obsession with her former boyfriend contributed to her downward spiral. “Her addiction to Justin is what everyone is afraid is going to take the ultimate toll,” a different source revealed in December. “Justin takes her to a dark place mentally, and she really can’t let go. She was stalking Justin on social media.”

Added the source, “She became a different person around him. She was extremely jealous and possessive and felt like she had to keep up with him to keep him. So she would drink and smoke, and then she got into weed and partying.”

And even after their breakup, Selena bombarded her friends with photos of the duo from the beginning of their relationship. “It was creepy,” the source admitted. “She wouldn’t stop. She said she missed him and the pictures made her happy. But her friends thought it just made her look sick.”
