There wasn't a dry eye in the house during Selena Gomez's "Woman of the Year" speech at the Billboard Women in Music 2017 ceremony. The 25-year-old singer not only spoke beautifully to her fans but also honored her "sister" Francia Raisa who donated her kidney to Selena earlier this year.

“I think Francia should be getting this award,” a tearful Selena said to the crowd. “She saved my life… I feel incredibly lucky. Honestly, I couldn’t be more grateful for the position that I’ve been given in my career from 7 to 14 to now. I want people to know that I respect the platform that I have so deeply because I knew that I wanted to be a part of something great, I wanted people to feel great."

Once again, the "Fetish" singer has us all in our feels after taking the stage. This past September, she revealed that she had undergone a kidney transplant and was in recovery. Until then, fans had no idea that Sel had gotten surgery. Although, her fans did notice that she had been MIA for some time.

"I’m very aware some of my fans had noticed I was laying low for part of the summer and questioning why I wasn’t promoting my new music, which I was extremely proud of," she wrote on Instagram. "So I found out I needed to get a kidney transplant due to my Lupus and was recovering."

Now, Selena is healthier and ready to continue to make more music. "I feel like for me, with my music, I’ve been able to illustrate the things that I want," she added. "And I’m reminded by a team of people who believe in me even when I don’t myself and I couldn’t be more luckier."

She closed saying, “How courageous it is that voices are being heard for the first time it’s so great and for all the older women that lifted all of us up because I couldn’t be here without any of you. Thank you for all of you who inspired so many girls who feel they don’t have a voice. I’m very, very lucky. I love you guys. I don’t know how I’ll repay it, maybe I’ll make an epic album for you guys and everyone else."
