No pair of Manolos will make us forgive Mr. Big for saying such heinous words!
In an interview with an Australian outlet, actor Chris Noth, best known for his role as the one and only Big on HBO’s Sex & the City, had something not so nice to say about Carrie Bradshaw (Sarah Jessica Parker) — you know, the character his character screwed over royally a bajillion times.
In fact, he says she was “such a whore.”
Chris currently stars on “The Good Wife,” and when asked if he was worried about being typecast as the powerful character dude in the industry, he offered up this response:
“It’s funny, because even with ‘The Good Wife’ people accuse me of always playing powerful men. But they’re flawed — Big was powerful because he had a lot of money and he seemed to have the upper hand in the relationship, but emotionally he was a wreck.
Actually, no: he was what he was. One of the things I tell people is that he never tried to pretend he was anything other than what he was. It was [Carrie] who tried to pretend he was something he wasn’t. He was always honest about himself — he never cheated on her. The relationship just didn’t work, and he went on to get married while she went on to … how many boyfriends did she have? She was such a whore! [laughs] There’s a misconception that Carrie was a victim of him, and that’s not the case — she was a strong, smart woman.”
Oh, really now, Nth??? Shall we remind you of all those times Carrie happened to find Big on several dates with other women in the beginning of their relationship? They weren’t exclusive, but can you blame the gal for wanting to make out with model Derek and spend the night with him (albeit not sleep together)? And who was the one calling the next day to apologize? B-I-G!
Let’s not even bring up the fact that Big and Carrie secretly saw each other while she was in a relationship with our beloved Aidan and he was married to “the idiot stick figure with no soul” aka Natasha. They both did pretty crappy things.
OR when he left our Manolo-loving fashionista stag at the altar. C-O-W-A-R-D. Chris' "whore" comment is a bit hypocritical if you ask us.
You know what, Noth? You’re making Berger look like an angel right about now. (But we still love you dearly.)
