Get used to the name Sharane Calister — you're gonna see her name in lights soon! The 24-year-old singer has made it to the Top 12 on this current season of The Voice, and a lot of fans think she could go all the way. In fact, she's been ranked the best performer on Adam Levine's team!

Sharane killed it on the NBC competition's April 23 episode with a powerful cover of Shawn Mendes' "In My Blood." And even before that showstopping number, Gold Derby reported Sharane was the favorite of Team Adam, with 41 percent of the popular vote. That's hardly a surprise, though, given the outpouring of Twitter love for this gal from Des Moines, IA.

"I lost it. GREAT JOB," one user tweeted. "I can't wait for the results; I hope you make the top 11," wrote another. A third said, "That was beautiful. Great job, @SharaneCalister." And a fourth said, "OMG, that performance was so powerful."

Meanwhile, one fan even compared Sharane to Mary J. Blige. "The pain (past or present) shines through in her singing!" posted the user. "Kinda like a young Mary J. transforming and finding her way! She has something unique!"

Sharane does indeed have pain in her past. When she was 10, she was separated from her twin sister after they were adopted by different families, and they weren't reunited until high school gospel choir. Plus, Sharane's adoptive mother was diagnosed with breast cancer.

And if you ask Sharane's Voice coach, all that emotion comes through in her singing. "The only thing within reason that I care about is what you have in spades, which is the ability to actually get us to come with you on the journey that you're on and believe what you're saying," Adam Levine told her following her performance in that episode. "That's the most important thing about singing right there. So as far as I'm concerned, you have it all. It's perfect."

As for Sharane, she's just grateful to Shawn for the inspiration. "Thank you @ShawnMendes for making ['In My Blood']," she tweeted. "I love that song. It definitely touches my heart. Love, love, love performing on @NBCTheVoice stage. BEST FEELING."

Let that best feeling never stop! Best of luck to Sharane as The Voice Season 14 continues.
