Siggy Flicker Is Annoying AF on Season 8 of RHONJ

Don’t call her Soggy Flicker! Real Housewives of New Jersey fans were first introduced to cast member Siggy Flicker during Season 7 of the show in one of the most memorable entrances of the entire series — seriously, who could forget how extra she looked arriving at a lunch date with former star Jacqueline Laurita wearing sunglasses and a silk scarf and later sipping on lobster bisque through a straw right after getting a facelift?! But even though she seemed like a great addition to the cast, it seems like she’s literally grasping at straws for a storyline to stay relevant on Season 8 — and in the process, she became super annoying.

Fans can’t deal with Siggy’s behavior this season, and many of them took to social media to complain about her segments on the show. “Siggy is too whiny and too annoying and very jealous. It’s not a good look,” one fan wrote, while another commented, “Catching up on #RHONJ and #Siggy is seriously the most annoying of all the housewives. She makes a living being a life coach? Girlfriend needs to coach herself first.” Even fans who were living for her last season are already over her! “I use LUV [sic] Siggy, but she’s SO EXTRA this season she’s annoying!!” one fan tweeted.

In all honesty, Siggy suffers from a hormone imbalance which makes it hard for her to control her emotions, and she really does seem like a sweet person who has a big heart and tons of compassion for others. But girl really needs to get it together!

But fans won’t have to deal with Siggy’s antics anymore, because earlier this week, she confirmed that she will not be returning to RHONJ and Season 8 will be her last season. “After much reflection and Bravo’s support, I have decided that this will be my last season on The Real Housewives of New Jersey,” the 50-year-old said in a statement to Bravo’s The Daily Dish. “I am grateful to the network for allowing me to be part of this successful franchise and wish only the best for Teresa, Melissa, Dolores, Danielle and Margaret. At this time, I want to focus on my beautiful family, my growing business and some exciting new projects.”

The whole cake thing.

Seriously, who cries over a cake? Season 8 of The Real Housewives started off with a very odd feud between Siggy and Margaret, and it all started at Melissa's birthday party. Siggy commissioned a very personal birthday cake for Melissa and she was extremely upset when that cake was ruined in a very playful food fight between Melissa and her sister-in-law Teresa. But instead of being angry with Melissa and Teresa, Siggy directed her anger at Margaret because instead of consoling her over the loss of the cake, Margaret to Siggy to “take it f–king down a notch.”

As if Margaret's comment about her tone during Melissa's birthday dinner wasn't enough, she continued to add fuel to the fire by making fun of Siggy's name and her inability to control her emotions, calling her "Soggy Flicker" because she cries all the time — which hurt Siggy's feelings.

Granted, Siggy would later explain in a previous episode that she used to get bullied as a child because of her unusual name at school so it makes sense that she felt the name-calling was a low blow, but Siggy also continued to make fun of Margaret for her hairstyle of choice — pigtails — which doesn't seem very nice either.

Her weird AF dance moves

Since Siggy and Margaret were not getting along, she refused to accept Margaret's invitation to a house party. Instead, she had an adult sleepover with her pal Dolores — who decided that she wouldn't go to Margaret's party out of loyalty to Siggy — and she showed off her awkward new dance move that definitely isn't cool or hip by any means.

Siggy is proud of the fact that she is an emotional person, and to be fair, she really can't control herself with it comes to holding back her tears. Back in 2014, Siggy underwent a routine surgery to treat her inflamed fibroids and during the procedure, her doctor found a pre-cancerous tumor on her ovary. As a precautionary measure, Siggy had a hysterectomy to prevent her from getting any more cancerous tumors in the future — and a side effect of the hysterectomy is a hormone imbalance, which makes it hard for her to keep her emotions in check.

Her inability to let things go.

Siggy works as a life coach, and one would think that she would take her own advice when it comes to her feud with Margaret. But that's not the case, and Siggy's immature side was on full display when Margaret tried to extend the olive branch — and she reacted by literally sticking her tongue out at her.
