Singer Sinead O'Connor shocked fans on Sunday when she posted a lengthy note on Facebook indicating that she'd "taken an overdose."
Irish police told BreakingNews.ie that the Grammy winner was located "safe and sound" after she expressed several suicidal thoughts, including "[my family] finally got rid of me."

"There is no other way to get respect," the 48-year-old wrote after saying she'd overdosed. "I am not at home, I'm at a hotel, somewhere in Ireland, under another name. If I wasn't posting this, my kids and family wouldn't even find out...I could have been dead here for weeks already and they'd never have known."

Sinead went on to accuse several family members of "appalling cruelty," including two of her exes, whom she's reportedly battling for custody of children Shane Lunny, 11, and Yeshua Bonadio, 8 (she also has a 28-year-old son and a 19-year-old daughter).
In the Facebook rant, the "Nothing Compares 2 U" hitmaker added that she's treated like "scum" and admitted in an earlier post that she's "desperately in need of a job and a place to live."

A new note posted on Monday calls out her two oldest children specifically, reading, "I'm shit to you. You're dead to me. You killed your mother."
Unfortunately, this isn't the first time that Sinead has allegedly attempted to take her own life. A series of tweets in 2011 reportedly prompted a visit from police to check on her well-being.
