After four years of an up and down romance, Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth have officially split.
Reps for both stars confirmed that the pair called off their engagement.
Following Miley's raunchy “We Can’t Stop” number at the VMAs on Aug. 25, rumors circulated that Liam wanted out of the relationship. She sparked even more buzz when she stopped following him on Twitter over the weekend.
As Life & Style just reported, The Hunger Games star, 23, was spotted out and about with beautiful Mexican singer Eiza Gonzalez in Las Vegas.
The news comes just one week after Miley, 20, premiered the racy video for her new single “Wrecking Ball,” which is said to be about the actor.
In the new issue of Harper’s Bazaar, the former Disney star opened about wedding plans, but wouldn’t directly discuss Liam.
“I definitely don’t have time to deal with a wedding right now,” she said. “But I will at some point.”
The pair have seen their ups and downs since they met on the set of The Last Song in June 2009.
They first broke up in August 2010, but reconciled a month later. In June 2012, they announced their engagement. He proposed with a stunning 3.5-carat diamond ring from jeweler Neil Lane.

Miley and Liam were last spotted together on Aug. 8 at the LA premiere of his film, Paranoia. At the time, an eyewitness told Life & Style they acted like strangers.

“They didn’t even look at each other,” the onlooker shared. “You would think that [Liam] would make sure [Miley] was okay, want to be by him, or something. He didn’t even look at her.”
