Stacey Dash has somehow managed to make her appearance at Sunday's Oscars even more uncomfortable!
After taking the stage at the 88th Annual Academy Awards on Feb. 28 — as part of a joke with host Chris Rock that fell completely flat — the 49-year-old took a page out of Jimmy Kimmel's playbook, reading aloud some of the negative tweets viewers wrote about her.

In the backstage video, the Clueless star says, "I just walked off stage from the Oscars where I got no applause, no boos, nothing. People were, I think awestruck. Which was a little disappointing. But I did it because I wanted to."

While the audience may not have elicited much of a reaction, the actress' "role" as the Academy's new director of minority outreach got a lot more hate than love online!
"I was hoping there was a trap door on stage and @REALStaceyDash would fall through," Stacey read from one user, while another said, "You looked foolish and sounded dumb."

The Fox News contributor and staunch Republican has made headlines in recent months for her outspoken views on race.
"If we don't want segregation, then we need to get rid of channels like BET and the BET Awards and the [NAACP] Image Awards, where you're only awarded if you're black," Stacey has previously said.
