It's safe to say that Starbucks' new drink looks magically delicious. The cleverly dubbed beverage — Butterfly Pea Lemonade Cold Brew — has layers of purple, yellow, and coffee-colored cold brew, which you can see in the video above.
Apparently, stirring the layers together will create a trippy effect of mixed colors customers don't usually see in their drinks. So, where can coffee fanatics get their hands on one of these? Unfortunately, the beverage will only be sold in 11 markets throughout Asia for a limited time.
According to the Starbucks press release, they announced that the drink will be a fusion of their Signature Espresso with butterfly pea power tea —a trendy ingredient in the area — and macadamia nut. The tea will reportedly be topped with lemonade and Starbucks Cold Brew coffee to create a drink that is not only too pretty to drink but will undoubtedly be the next Instagram craze.
The coffee powerhouse is also rolling out two other featured drinks in the same markets. A Macadamia Cocoa Cappuccino topped with real crumbled macadamias, graham crackers, and a nutty chocolate drizzle which seems heavenly. Plus, they've added a Tahitian Vanilla Macchiato to the menu while supplies last. Starbucks reported that this Macchiato is just an upgraded version of the classic customer favorite.
Starbucks has yet to reveal whether or not they will bring any of these drinks to the states, so it looks like if you really want one you may have to make your way across the world. Or try and convince your go-to barista to create a makeshift version here.
